iTricks: J C Sum & ‘Magic Babe’ Ning’s Essential Magic Conference (EMC) interview

Our EMC interview is out and global magic news portal iTricks did a report on their website the other day 🙂 Check out the post their Editor made here: JC Sum & Magic Babe Ning Talk About The First Magic Books They Ever Read

Magicians and serious magic enthusiasts would truly appreciate the Essential Magic Conference website, there’s just so much rich material! J C & I are members, and we’d absolutely encourage discerning lovers of magic to join the EMC community too.

EMC, which is a not-for-profit venture, is the brainchild of Luis De Matos (personally, my favorite illusionist for years and years now – not many people can turn me to mush but Luis just does and he doesn’t even need to try), David Britland (well-known television consultant and writer specialising in magic, deception, psychology and the paranormal) & the brilliantly talented hi-tech poet known as the virtual magician, Marco Tempest, who personally met J C & myself last month in Singapore, just hours before we flew off for our gig in Oman, the Middle East! 🙂

You can read my blog post about it here… Marco’s certainly an inspiration & yes, I’m glad we were invited by them to be part of this wonderful international magic family. It’s a great honor to be the first South East Asian illusionists to be interviewed for this global web portal!

Other professionals who are part of EMC (besides the creators) include world-class veterans like Max Maven, Lennart Green, Gazzo, Eric Mead, Devo, Apollo Robbins, Gaetan Bloom, Guy Hollingworth, Mike Caveney, Ton Onosaka, Finn Jon, Gene Matsuura, Cyril Takayama and Richard Wiseman (totally LOVE his books) just to name a few 🙂

For more about Essential Magic Conference, visit their stellar website today. Better yet, if you know someone who’s passionate about magic and wishes to know more about the art from true professionals, get them the EMC passes as a gift *grin*
