It’s been busybusybusy and it’d continue to be this festive season! Just the night before, we had a full illusion show for a wealthy multi-millionaire.
Held at the Shangrila, the internal company function was pretty lush and they were very generous too, with their red packets. More importantly they loved our show and even took pictures with us after showtime 🙂 Nothing makes me happier than knowing my audience is entertained!
I managed to meet up with Malaysian magician, David Lai, for a cuppa at Starbucks before he went back to KL. We’ve known each other for years, when he was still in University and it’s great re-connecting. He says he’s extremely proud of all my milestones and career achievements, and so am I for him! It seems that the Malaysian media really loves that boy 😉
Anyways, besides private events that J C & I are booked for next week, there are two public events that you can attend.
The first being a shopping centre appearance on 13 Dec, on the finals of a local magic competition held at Novena Square 2. Only 8 people entered, which is a tad surprising, but perhaps local amateurs didn’t realise it was going on. Still, it’s a great event to compete at 🙂
I was initially asked to be a judge but turned it down because of my busy work schedule. Representatives of Singapore’s 2 local magic clubs – IBM & SAM – will be judging instead *grin* J C & I will just be making an appearance on stage.
The other event that’s a public show, would be on the evening of 10 Dec, Thursday. FHM is having a bash at St James, and I’ll be doing some Deadly Sexy Magic 😉 See their official poster below for details!
Be there, or be square. See you then 😉
