Listen up everyone! 🙂
To celebrate our first illusion show at St James (Singapore’s biggest club) come this 6 Oct ’09, we’ll be giving away some really nifty prizes!
Here’s how you can WIN a pair of tickets to Sexy Magic/ Urban Illusions @ St James (worth S$40, incl of drinks) + a specially autographed copy of FHM Singapore Oct ’09 from yours truly!
Head over to your local newsstand or favorite bookshop and take a picture of OR with the new FHM Oct 2009 magazine. Next up, post your photo on the J C Sum & ‘Magic Babe’ Ning Facebook page here.
Yours truly will choose 2 winners based on my favourite photo & the most creative photo 😉
The boring photo below is an example of what NOT to take, as it will not win you the prize.
See… booriiiing! It totally lacks personality and it’s just completely blah. Add your magic into it and surprise us *wink*
All that aside, please note the following rules… You must take the photo at a public news stand or bookshop… not in your bedroom. We also need you to give credit to the location. Please don’t get yourselves in trouble if you’ve any wild antics in mind, let’s play nice!
This contest is open to everyone and anyone located in Singapore and ends 23 Sep ’09, with results posted online next week, this 25 Sep ’09. Check out our official Facebook contest page here.
But all that aside, do make it a date with us on 6 Oct 😉 I promise, the evening will be a magical blast… tell your chums all about it and come on down to support us local talents!
Now, this ‘one night only’ special sees us specially unveil brand new acts and illusions on stage. Yes, this will all be amazing stuff that’s different from Ultimate Magic (Singapore’s first magic attraction) which as you know, ended its full one-year run about 2 weeks ago.
The magical evening also sees our Merlin Awards presentation, where J C & I will receive our individual awards from Mr Tony Hassini of the International Magicians Society. He’d be flying down from New York to personally give them to us, what a sweetheart…
The committee from The International Brotherhood of Magicians (Ring 115) will be coming down for the event as well. President, John Teo, told me just yesterday that he’s especially proud of us putting Singapore on the world map of magic by being the very first local illusionists to win this international award! *grin* I’m so very grateful of their support!
Oh yes… Do note that seats are limited, so do come early to avoid disappointment. Here’s looking forward to see you then 😉 For more info on the event, see www.jcsum.com/stjames
