The Impossible Record was a smashing success!!!!
We nailed it and made HISTORY by making the impossible possible 🙂 🙂 🙂 Thank you so much for your support – I’m so glad we’re able to put Singapore on the world map last night.
Kudos to the indispensable team – Larry, Matt, Ashraf, Adeline – it’s not just J C & me *grin* Everyone had a vital role to pull off this complex gig smoothly and I’m just so proud of all of them.
Many thanks as well to the Singapore Tourism Board & Central for believing in us and for wanting to work with us again. It’s been another fantastic partnership.
If you missed the actual event, which was the closing highlight of the Singapore River Festival, feel free to check out the video above (thanks Weili & Co!) Concept:Magic will be uploading the official one in a bit, once the whole bunch of us get a well-deserved break. The past few weeks leading up to this had been reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally crazy, as you can imagine.
We’re on the news today… check out Channel News Asia for their report on our successful world record attempt.
There’s also photos from our spectacular feat on their website here.
Here’s a couple of photos from ChannewlNewsAsia.com with J C & yours truly…
Much appreciation goes out to the officials from the Singapore Book of Records & International Brotherhood of Magicians (Ring 115) for adjudicating the event and officially presenting us with the awards above after we successfully achieved the target.
A big THANK YOU goes out to the members of the media as well, both local and overseas, for covering last night’s world record feat. Off the top of my head, besides Channel News Asia there was Today, Razor TV, Lianhe Zaobao, China TV (Taiwan), OMY.sg, Red Dot Magic, MagicSeen, and more…
Speaking about CTV (Taiwan), you can watch the episode online here via their news web portal. FYI, it starts at 30.32 min and ends at 33.00 min.
I’d like to thank everyone who’s helped us out in one way or another, and especially all our wonderful supporters who waited so very patiently for the meet & greet session for autographs and photographs. You’re all really kind to give gifts, and it’s fully appreciated but please don’t spend so much next time, a handwritten note would suffice! *hugs*
Last but not least, I’d like to thank my wonderful family for making time to specially come down to support me.
Thanks you guys, I love you
